Meet Katie, Our Owner
Katie, a 2015 graduate of the Aveda Institute of Rhode Island, boasts over nine years of experience in the salon industry, fueled by her passion for the beauty industry. Her professional journey began with a career-defining opportunity on Newbury Street in Boston, where she worked alongside accomplished stylists, mastering the craft. After gaining invaluable experience over seven years, Katie returned to her roots in Franklin, Massachusetts, where she and her fiancé established their home.
Driven by her aspirations, Katie pursued her next endeavor working at a salon in town. shortly realizing opening her dream salon, The Color Lounge. Behind the chair, she finds joy in transformative color work, extensions, and making her clients' visions a reality. Katie specializes in blonding techniques and takes pride in her expertise in styling brides for their special day. Certified in Bellami hair extensions, she keeps abreast of industry trends, capturing transformational moments and fostering meaningful connections with each clients.
